As the next chapter of our travels continue, we’re thrilled to report that we’ve arrived in Istanbul, Turkey, marking a new step in our journey. For me, this is his 54th country, while Ryan who joins us here, it will be his 51st. My husband will hang with us for a few days before heading back to the states.
Our first day in Istanbul kicked off wandering the Bosphorus district where our hotel is located. For the next five nights we are staying at the impressive Conrad Istanbul Bosphorus. What a place to call home!
Istanbul with its rich tapestry of history, blends the ancient and modern like no other city. From the majestic Hagia Sophia, once a cathedral and then a mosque, to the vibrant bazaars that pulse with life and culture, the magnificent waterfront, amazing food, there’s so much to discover. Our first impression, WOW, Turkey has exceeded all our expectations.
We’re eager to dive into the local cuisine, connect with the warm-hearted people, and soak in the stunning sights. Here’s to new experiences, unforgettable memories, and the stories we’ll gather along the way in this fascinating land. Stay tuned as we explore the wonders of Turkey!
